Registration for 2023 is closed! We will announce dates for 2024 in mid-November.
Join Linda and guest teachers for a full day each month learning about identifying, growing, processing and using plants! Hands-on activities such as plant and plant family ID, propagation, harvesting, seed saving, and product making as well as some book learning about human physiology and herbal constituents help to provide a framework for future study that you will not find in online herbal programs.
Each daily class structure includes the following:
1. An herb walk
2. A botany lesson on a plant family
3. Body system physiology discussion
4. Growing, Harvesting, and Processing
5. Medicine Making
Tuition: $800 plus $140 for materials fee ($20 per class).
Materials fee includes all alcohol, oils, vinegar, honey, hydrosols, essential oils, jars and bottles used in class each month. Herbs are included with the cost of tuition.
Classes will be offered in your choice of three cohorts: Wednesdays, Fridays or Sundays. Classes run IN PERSON once monthly from April through November from 11 am to 5 pm each day, rain or shine.
The ONLINE component of the course is a monthly 1.5 hour lecture with Q+A each month focused on a body system. Linda offers herbal approaches to supporting the health of each system in the lectures, which are offered via Zoom on Mighty Networks (our course community platform), are recorded, and will be offered on the second Tuesday evening of each month.
