Our Lavender Simple Syrup is made every June with fresh wands of aromatic flowers harvested on a sunny day, just as they begin to bloom. As a high essential oil plant, we extract separate batches of the lavender at high and low temperatures to capture the bitter complexity and nuanced aromatics.

Linda (MSN, RN) and Eric started Bluestem Botanicals in 2008 with a mission to connect people to plants for food, for medicine and for a more resilient collective future.
All of their products are hand grown, harvested, and manufactured on their small farm in Pennsylvania.

Directions for Use

This syrup is great. Fresh lemongrass isn't always easy to come by, so this is especially convenient. I've enjoyed it drizzled over a veggie stir fry with plenty of ginger and garlic, and of course it's a tasty addition to tea. Eric recommended pairing it with a cup of Bluestem Botanicals Self-Heal Tea. Wonderful suggestion. It's a lovely, sweet touch!
