This is the Sacred or Holy Basil preferred by many herbalists for medicinal quality teas and extracts. The yield is much lower per row foot than the more commonly available "Kapoor" variety, hence the higher price. 

We planted more for 2026 and are awaiting large enough harvest to list for dried herb listing- likely mid-September!
