Alfalfa is commonly included in nourishing blends to support the health of bones and tissues.  It is harvested during its flowering stage when it has the most abundance of aerial growth. We hand harvest, carefully dry at low temperatures, and hand garble (process into smaller particles, minimizing large stems).
