Our answer to the increasingly endangered Conchona Bark, which is the source of the famous ingredient Quinine. When making a Tonic base replacement, we wanted to replicate the depth of flavor and bitterness that the traditional preparation is known for. Using native, cultivated and wild plants grown and harvested here in Pennsylvania, we feel that we have achieved that feat- without contributing to the extinction of plants harvested thousands of miles away.

Linda (MSN, RN) and Eric started Bluestem Botanicals in 2008 with a mission to connect people to plants for food, for medicine and for a more resilient collective future.
All of their products are hand grown, harvested, and manufactured on their small farm in Pennsylvania.
Their mission and their passion for their herbs comes through in every bottle, tincture, and bag they produce.
Directions for Use
Add 1 tablespoon to 16oz of seltzer water for a refreshing herbal soda.
