Join us for this special Summer Solstice Celebration on the farm and learn how to make botanical art!  Our intimate evening will begin with an educational herb walk with Bluestem's farmer and herbalist Linda Shanahan where we will learn about the medicinal properties of wild and cultivated plants grown at the farm.  We will harvest fresh plants and then Artist Mesa will lead you step by step on how to create a beautiful Plant Pressed Botanical Clay Wall Hanging colored with natural pigments all while enjoying a delicious farm fresh herbal cocktail or mocktail.

Place:  This is a rain or shine event held at the FARM address at 380 North Shady Retreat Road, Doyelestown, PA 18901.  We are located BEHIND the Doylestown Veterinary Hospital on the same property. Drive all the way straight back and look for signs past the parking areas and follow drive through the deer fence.

Your wall hanging will stay behind for Mesa to fire and will be available for pickup after July 17th at Bluestem Herb Shop 52A East State Street, Doylestown, PA 18901

About the Artist:

" “Mesa” (pronounced like Lisa with an M) is my nickname given by my eldest niece many moons ago. “Lifestyle” is the particular way I choose to live this sacred, wild life. I have lived off-grid as a working and traveling artist for nearly 10 years. I aspire to live with kindness as my driving force, in reciprocity with nature, and to do my part to keep the creative spirit alive and well within myself and my community."
