Boneset is a beautiful native Eupatorium species that loves to grow in moist places and serves as a source of nectar for loads of wasps, bees, and flower flies. It's bitter leaves and flowers have been used for thousands of years to support us in the face of seasonal insults, particularly of viral origin. We offer this herb as the dried herb, when made into tea brings on a fever, and a tincture- which can be taken in tea, juice, or water to help lessen the bitter taste.
We make the tincture from fresh flowering tops of the plants at a ratio of 1:2. Each mL of tincture contains the equivalent of approximately 500 mg of fresh herb.
