Harvested when the buds are filled with aromatic white gooey sap, we crafted this Grindelia Elixir with fresh buds simmered over many hours under low heat (never above 130 degrees) in honey.  We combined this honey extract with fresh grindelia tincture for preservation and potency.  Inspired by a recipe shared by Lisa Ganora, this bitter and sweet concoction can be utilized with respiratory or digestive support is needed.  It can even be used for wet, oozing skin conditions in which the honey will pull fluid from the tissue while the tincture will contribute antimicrobial and astringing properties to promote healing.

Ingredients:

Fresh organic Grindelia buds, Organic Raw Honey (never heated above 130 degrees during preparation), Organic Cane Sugar Alcohol.

Product size: 4 Ounces / 120 mL

Recommended use: Take 1 teaspoon three times a day as needed for respiratory or digestive support. Apply topically in thin layer over area of need, repeating as often as needed.
